Hey, fellow Brawler! 🎃 I’ve been poking around the new Brawl-O-Ween update in Brawl Stars, and this year Supercell didn’t just throw one spooky playlist at us. The 2026 celebration is split into four phases, and the first one is already live. If you’re like me and you want to grab every Coffin Box, every Chaos Drop, and every silly Easter egg before they vanish, here’s how I’m approaching it.

Phase 1: Find Gus — a point-and-click mystery in Mortis’ Mortuary

The first phase is called Find Gus, and it runs until October 12, 2026. I’ll be honest: I didn’t expect a Brawl Stars event to feel like a point-and-click adventure game, but that’s exactly what this is. You enter Mortis’ Mortuary, move from room to room, hunt for clues, solve puzzles, and slowly uncover hints about where Gus has gone.

Each room has its own puzzle. When you solve one, you get a Chaos Drop plus other rewards. That loop is simple, but it kept me hooked because every room feels like a tiny mystery. There are also hidden Easter eggs scattered around, so I’ve been tapping everything that looks even slightly suspicious. 👀

Once you solve every room, you receive a Coffin Box. Brawl Stars has teased this as one of the best boxes released for an event, so that alone makes Find Gus worth finishing. If you’re stuck, my advice is to slow down, read the room description, and test every interactive object. The puzzles are not brutal, but they do reward curiosity.

The four Brawl-O-Ween phases at a glance

Here’s the schedule I’m keeping on my phone:

Phase Event Dates What I expect
1 Find Gus Now – October 12, 2026 Puzzles, clues, Chaos Drops, Easter eggs, and one Coffin Box for clearing every room
2 Scary Coffins October 15 – October 26, 2026 More spooky coffin-themed rewards and likely more Chaos Drop opportunities
3 Creator Event October 26 – October 29, 2026 Creator Code involvement, so get familiar with how Creator Codes work
4 Last Coffin October 29 – November 5, 2026 Random useful rewards, plus community goals that may be much harder to complete

I like that the phases overlap slightly. It means there’s always something to check when I log in, even if I only have ten minutes. The full details for Scary Coffins, Creator Event, and Last Coffin will only be revealed when they go live, so I’m treating this schedule as the skeleton and leaving room for surprises.

Coffin Boxes: what’s inside and why I care

The Coffin Box is the headline reward of Brawl-O-Ween 2026. Opening one can give you Coins, Brawlers, and more. Each Coffin Box contains 10 rewards, and at least one of those is guaranteed to be a premium reward. That guarantee is a big deal for me because it means even a mediocre pull still has a real highlight.

The regular reward pool includes different quantities of:

  • Power Points

  • Credits

  • Bling

  • XP Doublers

  • Coins

  • Brawlers

One very player-friendly detail: Coffin Boxes will not give you a reward you already own. If you roll something already in your collection, the game gives you a fallback reward instead, usually in the form of Bling, Coins, or Credits. I wish every box worked like that. It removes that awful feeling of opening something and getting a duplicate you cannot use.

I’ve seen the in-game odds screen for individual rewards, but I’m not going to pretend those percentages are locked forever. Supercell can adjust drop rates during an event, and the pool changes depending on what you already own. My personal strategy is simple: complete the free event rooms first, then decide whether any paid offers are worth it. Coffin Boxes are generous, but free Chaos Drops and event progress should always come first.

My plan for the rest of the season

For Scary Coffins, I’ll be watching for daily tasks and any new coffin-themed progression. For the Creator Event, I’m going to make sure my Creator Code is ready, because that phase is short — only October 26 to October 29, 2026. The Last Coffin phase runs from October 29 to November 5, 2026, and it sounds like it will hand out random useful rewards. The community goals attached to it could be harder, so I’ll be checking the event tab often and contributing whenever I can.

If you’re a casual player like me, don’t stress about doing everything in one sitting. Brawl-O-Ween is a marathon, not a sprint. Clear Find Gus rooms one at a time, grab your Chaos Drops, hunt the Easter eggs, and keep an eye on the calendar. The spooky season in Brawl Stars is always one of my favorite times of year, and 2026’s four-phase setup might be the best version yet. 🎃👻

I’ll update my notes as Supercell reveals more about Scary Coffins, Creator Event, and Last Coffin. Until then, good luck in Mortis’ Mortuary — and if you find Gus before I do, tell him I said hi.
